As the year comes to a close and everyone is trying to get in for their visits and procedures since deductibles have been met, I have been thinking a lot about how the DPC model avoids a lot of that madness.
One of the ways that you can save headaches and money through Direct Primary Care is through the at-cost labs and medications that we have available.
Here is an example of a recent bill my husband got. He wanted to have some simple blood work. Below I will compare what we were charged and an estimate of what it would cost at Gentile Family DPC with the at-cost labs we will have available:
That's about $100 in savings. And if we didn't have insurance at all, that's about $270 in savings.
I don't know about your family, but $100 is a lot of money for us and any chance I can get to save it, I am willing to consider.
So just a cool shout-out to the exciting prospect of direct primary care and how it can affect your family's bottom line!
Love and light,
Nat
